माफिया डॉन बाला सिंघम अपने मंत्री पिता गुरु सिंघम को अगला सीएम बनाने के लिए विधायकों को रिश्वत देने के लिए 10,000 करोड़ का कंटेनर भारत भेजता है।
एक क्रिमिनोलॉजिस्ट पूजा को अपने शोध के एक भाग के रूप में मोहन गांधी नाम के एक व्यक्ति के बारे में पता चलता है, जिसे अपनी बेटी को छोड़कर अपने पूरे परिवार की हत्या करने का दोषी पाया गया था।

थीसिस के मामले में क्रिमिनोलॉजिस्ट प्रिया के गलत निर्णय के कारण एक हत्या का दोषी पुलिस हिरासत से भाग जाता है।
प्रिया, अर्जुन के साथ हत्या और मनी लॉन्ड्रिंग के रहस्य को सुलझाती है जो हत्या की ओर ले जाता है।

For the success of any thriller at the box office, the screenplay is a crucial element.
It has to be fast, furious and give enough twists to keep the audience hooked to the film.
However, in Khiladi, Ramesh Varma, who wrote the story and screenplay apart from directing it, appears to be inspired by typical Telugu television serials.
The logic of Telugu serials is simple - move the drama, add enough melodrama and introduce some dream sequences.
As a thought, he gives us some twists, which you can see coming a mile away.
The film's action, which could have been its saving grace, is also messy.
While the story has its moments, the benefits are lost by adding unnecessary songs and inane subplots.
Ravi Teja plays his role as a thug well.
He tries to push a solid narrative with all his energy but that's all he can do.
Venela Kishore, among others, impresses with his rib-tickling acting, while Arjun Sarja prevails in a cop avatar.

As a part of her research, Pooja, a crime expert, comes to know about a man named Mohan Gandhi, who was convicted of killing his entire family except his daughter.
She meets him in jail but he refuses to talk to her.
Seeing the bond between him and his daughter, she promises to help him if he tells his story and helps her get bail.
After that Gandhi tells his past.
Gandhi was an orphan and was raised by a successful businessman, Rajasekhar.
Gandhi was the general manager of his company.
One day a new girl, Chitra, who was also his new employee, came to live in the neighborhood where Gandhi and his neighbors lived.
Gandhi immediately falls in love with his neighbor Chitra.
Unbeknownst to him, Chitra also falls in love with him.
After some fun encounters, they get married and have a daughter.
Meanwhile, CBI officer Arjun arrested Rajasekhar in a money laundering case involving Rs 10,000 crore.
Guru Singham ordered Gandhi to find money for them and threatened to kill Rajasekhar's family if he failed to do so.
Gandhi confronts Rajasekhar and learns that Rajasekhar did this to return the favor to the Home Minister, who helped him in his needy days.
Another gang, led by David, orders them to share the information with them and, failing to do so, threatens to kill their family with relatives posing as their henchmen.
Gandhi secretly meets Rajasekhar and decodes the location of the money.
After confirming this, Gandhi first informs the Home Minister and then David.
The Home Minister orders Rajasekhar to be killed in custody and takes away the money.
David replaces Rob's money and money with counterfeit currency in between and burns the container to destroy all evidence.
Arjun found a note and after forensic examination it was identified as fake.
David, who was constantly instructed over the phone through an unknown person, he and his henchmen kill Gandhi's family but he takes all the blame so that his daughter is spared.
After hearing his story, Pooja arranges bail for him using his father's name, DGP Jayaram, so that he can perform the last rites of his father-in-law.
After finding out, Arjun and Jayaram try to stop her but Gandhi runs away.
Pooja learns to her shock that Gandhi's allegedly dead family members are alive and part of his party.
It is then revealed that Gandhi is the wanted leader of a local crime syndicate based in Dubai and a thug whose sole purpose is to make money and build a foundation to help the poor and needy.
Arjun was sent to Dubai to be caught red handed.
One day Gandhi came to know about 10000 crores and planned to loot it.
He took Aditi, a club dancer, with whom Bala Singham was planning to date.
With the help of his gang and Aditi, Bala Singham's mobile was hacked where the money was kept.
Gandhi reached there and fought against his men and was about to take money that Arjuna caught him, but he was shot.
Arjun reported back to India and the CBI was deployed.
One day Gandhi came to him and he surrendered and also took the blame of several crimes which he had not committed and was given a rigorous imprisonment of 14 years.
In prison, he befriended Ramakrishna and it was his story that Gandhi used to narrate to the puja and use it to get himself released from prison.
He also plans to forge the documents so that Pooja can be sure that what he is saying is true.
Arjun devises a plan in which he can capture both David and Gandhi.
Outside the court, a shootout ensued and David was captured by Gandhi, while Ramakrishna was captured by Singham's men.
During the confrontation, the badly heated David states that he did all this on the instructions of an unknown person, who was revealed to be Jayaram.
Pooja did not believe it, but she came to know about the money and told Gandhi that all the cash held by her father had been converted into cryptocurrency.
Meanwhile, Singham was about to kill Ramakrishna, as he denied having any knowledge of the money.
But in time Pooja called Singham and made a deal to tell him the location and he let Ramakrishna go.
During a shootout, Aditi betrays Gandhi and shoots him for money.
While admitted to the hospital, Pooja learns from Gandhi's henchmen that Gandhi was behind money to create a charitable trust for those in need.
Pooja said here that she had lied to them and that her father had all the money in hard cash.
Singham and his men came to that place and killed Jayaram's men, but Gandhi reached there and killed everyone.
Along with Singham's henchmen and Singham, he was about to take all the money, but suddenly had a change of heart.
He freed Ramakrishna and he eventually met his daughter.
After a final showdown with Arjuna, Arjun, seeing Gandhi now a changed man, frees him.
In the final twist, Guru Singham was removed from his ministerial post because the money he used to bribe MLAs was fake.
It turns out that Gandhi had real money and fooled Singham and everyone.
Arjun, while talking to Gandhi on the phone, vowed to catch him again.
Gandhi replies that he is fighting neither against them nor against Singham and Jayaram, but against the responsibility of the corrupt society towards the people and wishes Arjuna.
